About Karim
Karim Al-Mansour is Vice President of Private Equity and Venture Capital at Dodo Global Investments, the architect of DGI's private markets strategy and the principal point of contact for the firm's most complex deal structuring mandates. With 14 years of elite dealmaking experience spanning the Middle East, Europe, and North America, Karim brings an extraordinary breadth of expertise to every transaction — from early-stage venture investments to large-cap leveraged buyouts and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
Beyond his investment and dealmaking role, Karim is DGI's foremost authority on offshore company formation, BVI company registration, Cayman Islands fund structuring, and Delaware holding company formation. His deep familiarity with offshore jurisdiction regulations, nominee director services, complex multi-layered corporate structures, and special purpose vehicle (SPV) formation for investment funds means he is uniquely positioned to advise sophisticated investors and institutional clients on the most tax-efficient and structurally sound corporate architectures.
Karim holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business Law from King's College London and an MBA from INSEAD (Fontainebleau campus). He began his career as a corporate lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Dubai, specialising in M&A and capital markets transactions. He subsequently moved into private equity at Abraaj Group and later at Gulf Capital, before joining DGI to lead its private markets practice.
His dealmaking track record includes managing over $600 million in private equity transactions across technology, healthcare, real estate, and infrastructure sectors. He has led successful exits via IPO, trade sale, and secondary buyout — generating consistently strong IRRs for DGI's LP base. His venture capital portfolio includes investments in 18 technology companies across Fintech, PropTech, and Climate Tech verticals.
As a passionate proponent of offshore corporate architecture, Karim regularly advises UHNWI clients, family offices, and institutional investors on leveraging BVI and Cayman Islands structures for maximum asset protection, inheritance planning efficiency, and fund formation flexibility. He believes that every serious investor and business owner should understand the strategic power of a well-structured offshore holding company — and DGI's company formation services make that accessible to all.
